Crypta is a fictional fintech company with a platform for exploring cryptocurrency investments. The brief was to design a mobile sign-up flow that moves smoothly from step to step. It needed clear instructions, easy navigation and the option to save progress and come back later. For a crypto platform, the onboarding also had to build trust while collecting sensitive personal and financial information.

MyRogers mobile app is where Rogers customers manage their accounts, check data usage, pay bills and get support. I did a heuristic interaction design review of the current app, found where users get stuck, and redesigned five core parts of it. The goal was a simpler, clearer experience that works for every user, including older adults.

Ara Africano
I’m in my final semester of Interactive Design at SAIT, majoring in User Experience. While studying, I work part-time as an email designer for GOAT. With a background in graphic design and video editing, I enjoy balancing visual creativity with thoughtful problem-solving. Right now, I’m focused on expanding my knowledge and experience in UI/UX. I like understanding what people need before opening Figma - because good design starts with the problem, not just the pixels.
